The genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff, coupled with the personal anecdotes shared by the owner, Walter, truly made me feel like I was a part of the Gasthof's rich history.One aspect that truly stood out to me was the cozy terrace overlooking the stunning mountains, where I spent peaceful evenings enjoying the crisp Alpine air. The efficient heating system, powered by hydro energy, not only kept me warm and comfortable throughout my stay but also showcased the hotel's dedication to sustainable practices. The generous portions of traditional Austrian cuisine, especially the Vienna-style schnitzels, served at a remarkably low price, highlighted the exceptional value for money that Gasthof Bergheimat offers to its guests. The hotel's proximity to picturesque hiking trails allowed me to immerse myself in the breathtaking natural beauty of the Alps, making it an ideal retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.
